Weekending | Low Key in Ann Arbor

Well, the first weekend of March has already come and gone. How is that even possible?! We had a pretty good weekend; a good mix of relaxation, fun, and getting stuff done.

Friday night was very low-key. We rented Snowden from Redbox and picked up Frostys from Wendy's on our way back home. We were both pretty impressed with the movie, it was very thought provoking and it was interesting to see a different point-of-view.

We slept in a little on Saturday and then met up with our Realtor to tour a couple houses. Our house/land hunt has just started and I'm already ready for it to be over. I'm not very good at the "window shopping" or patience kind of thing. After that, we went to see Logan. I haven't seen any of the other X-Men movies and still really enjoyed the movie. We stopped for Mexican afterwards and then headed home.

Sunday began our new normal. After shadowing for a week, Thomas began his new shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). I spent the majority of the day doing laundry, filing our taxes, and reading. I guess it was a pretty boring weekend now that I've typed it all out :)

I'm looking forward to the week ahead! Thursday night we finally have our rescheduled Kings of Leon concert and then we're heading to Grand Rapids for the weekend on Friday. Have a great week! Linking up with Biana here.

  1. Your weekend sounds exactly like ours, with lots of relaxing! Sometimes that's exactly what you need after a week of being busy! I'm glad that you liked Logan! I've been looking forward to seeing it!

    1. I was pleasantly surprised! It had more of a story line than most super hero/comic movies. Now I'm going to have to drag Thomas to see Beauty & The Beast ;)
