Weekending | Wedding #1

This past weekend (yes...this recap is a little late) started our "wedding month." We have three weddings to attend three Saturdays in a row!

First up was Thomas' cousins' reception in Metro Detroit. They were married in Cancun in January, but unfortunately we weren't able to attend due to school. We were SO happy that they hosted a reception at home too! Since Thomas was in the bridal party we were able to enjoy the party bus with the rest of the bridal party.

The first stop on the party bus was to the fire station, because Matt is a fire fighter and they never got engagement pictures taken. These pictures turned out awesome.. all the heart eyes!

From there we headed to The Post Bar and Grill in Downtown Plymouth for a round of shots.

By this point it was time to head to the reception, where we had delicious food catered by Joe's Produce. I'm talking TACO BAR, fruit and cheese plates, hamburger sliders, etc. I could've spent the whole night eating! Then it was time to dance the night away ;)

We also had a great time catching up with family members that we haven't seen in a while and pretending to be firefighters.

One of the highlights of the night was getting all of the cousins together for a photo with Grandma and this is only half of them!!! That's what happens when you have nine children ;) She is an amazing lady and I love being a part of this family!
