Current Beauty | Hair Products

I've come a long way in the beauty department over the past year. The biggest change happened when I got my hair cut short, like a lob, in July. I could no longer throw it up in a ponytail and that forced me to learn how to style it. By style it I mean blow dry and straighten it. I still don't know how to work a curling iron, but one day I'll get there! For now I'm just glad I'm no longer wearing it in a ponytail. Here's a list of my current favorite hair products..
T3 SinglePass 2 Straightener: I splurged on this straightener in December and haven't looked back. While I can't speak on it's longevity, it's been great so far. It heats up quickly and gets very hot, which makes the straightening process painless. It takes me less than 10 minutes from start to finish.
T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer: Another huge splurge, I paid around $180 for it on Amazon two years ago, but let me tell you it was worth every penny! My MIL had a different model and let me test it out before pulling the trigger and that was all I needed to be convinced. I have thick, corse hair that would take forever to dry and would frizz anytime I used a blow dryer, but not with this one!
Goody Styling Therapy Brush: I love this brush! The metal feels soothing on my scalp, almost like a scalp massage, and it does the job.

Redken Iron Shape: I use this every time I straighten my hair. I'm not sure it's any different from a drugstore brand or worth the extra money, but it was the "free" product when I bought two other products.
Redken Curvaceous Full Swirl: On the rare days that I don't feel like blow drying + straightening I scrunch a nickel sized amount of this at the ends and it gives my hair a little curl/wave.
Redken Satinwear: I use this anytime I blow-dry my hair to protect it from the heat and smooth any flyaways.
Biolage HydraSource Shampoo & Conditioner: This is the shampoo my stylist uses and I like the way it makes my hair feel so I've continued to use it. I purchase the bigger sized bottles during the $15/bottle sale (in January & July typically) and they last me roughly a year (I wash my hair every 2-3 days).
Biolage Hydrasource Daily Leave-In Tonic: This is a recent purchase, but I bought it in hopes of hydrating my dry scalp and hair. So far so good.
Matrix Vavoom Hair Spray: I rarely use hair spray and am still using the same bottle I purchased over a year ago, but it does the job.
Clear Complete Scalp Care Anti Dandruff Shampoo: Like I mentioned above, my scalp is extremely dry and unfortunately causes itching/flakes. This shampoo is great and I like the texture a lot better than Head and Shoulders.
Macadamia Nourishing Moisture Masque: I use this mask 1-2 times a week just to add some extra hydration to my hair, notice the pattern? this winter has been brutal, and it's awesome! It smells amazing and makes my hair so soft. A little goes a long way. I purchased the travel size 3 months ago and still have ~2 uses left.

The one product I haven't figured out/utilized is dry shampoo so if you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them! And there you have it, my current hair favorites. I'd love to hear what your favorites are! Stay tuned for my next beauty post on my current skincare products :)
